Writing about myself is difficult, I never know what to say.  I'm an ordinary wife and mother of 3 teenagers, I live with my family in the beautiful Cathedral City of Hereford, England, which provided my earliest inspiration.

I discovered my passion seven years ago after being given a box of watercolours and a tutorial book.  I worked through the lessons, learning a little every day.  After a while the lessons didn't satisfy, I looked to my surroundings for inspiration, finding it in the wonderful architecture of Hereford, and the beautiful countryside.

Six years down the line I don't specialise in any one subject, I flit from flower to still life, from animal to architecture, from landscape to portrait, looking for interesting light, patterns, contrast.  My paintings are in private collections in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, Europe, USA, Canada and Australia.  My passion hasn't diminished, it grows as I see more and more beauty in the wonderful world I live in.
